What is Ibusuki Onsen?
Ibusuki Onsen is one of the most popular hot spring resorts in Kyushu, attracting more than 2.8 million tourists annually. Facing Kinko Bay, the area has been rich in hot springs since ancient times, and there are more than 1,000 hot spring sources. You can experience world famous "Suna-Mushi" hot spring (steamed sand hot spring), which you submerge yourself under steaming sand.
